PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preliminary presentation apparatus by which arbitrary meaning information regarding an arrival prediction road or a recommended road is processed prior to a point of time to be presented, and by which a more complicated presentation content is presented without losing a presentation timing. SOLUTION: A map storage means 1 stores road-related information, and a position-related-information detection means 2 detects a position of a vehicle so as to estimate a position on a map corresponding to a position in which the vehicle is running. By a presentation means 3, the arbitrary meaning information regarding a road in which the vehicle is estimated to be reached soon is found on the basis of the road-related information, meaning information is presented when the presentation timing is reached, the meaning information is processed in advance when the presentation timing is reached, a previous notice sound is issued, and the meaning information is announced by a voice.
