PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain thermal electromotive force by enlarging temperature difference between a hot junction and a cold junction of a serial thermocouple. SOLUTION: A cooling cylinder 51 having a cooling port 50 in the vicinity of the cold junction b of the series thermocouple 21 is branched from a fan exhaust cylinder 23 and installed. A part of mixed gas of combustion gas sent through the fan exhaust cylinder 23 with air is passed through the cooling cylinder 51 and blown against the cold junction b through the cooling port 50. Therefore, the cold junction b is forcedly cooled, the temperature difference between the hot junction and the cold junction is enlarged, and the thermal electromotive force is efficiently obtained.
