PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of defects in a process for connecting terminals of a panel and wiring patterns of an FPC in a plasma display device. SOLUTION: This plasma display device has a panel 11 which is constituted by arranging opposingly a front panel 1 and a back panel 6 so as to form a discharge space and in which the front panel 1 and the back panel 6 have a long side and a short side and electrode connecting parts are provided by arranging and forming a plurality of terminals at the short side of the front panel 1 and the long side of the back panel 6, a plurality of FPC 27, 28 provided with wiring patterns connected to terminals of this panel 11, and connection members arranged between the FPC 27, 28 and the electrode connecting parts of the panel 11 and connecting electrically wiring patterns of the FPC 27, 28 and terminals of the panel 11, after terminals formed on the back panel 6 and the wiring patterns of the FPC 28 are connected by the connecting members, terminals formed on the front panel 1 and wiring patterns of the FPC 27 are connected by the connecting members.
