PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the cooling efficiency of a housing pipe. SOLUTION: In housing pipes 10, canisters 3 in which high-level radioactive wastes are housed are put. The upper parts of the housing pipes 10 are supported with the ceiling portion 2a of a storage warehouse 2 and are hung down in it. The housing pipes 10 are cooled by spontaneous circulation of air. Since the peripheral surfaces of these housing pipes 10 are provided with fins 10a, the cooling efficiency of each housing pipe 10 increases, and increase of the inside temperature of each canister 3 can be suppressed.
