PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater device for sealing a packing band in which a heater plate can move in a forward or rearward direction while keeping a substantially horizontal state, its structure is simple and it can be constituted under an effective utilization of a component arrangement space. SOLUTION: A heater device for sealing a packing band is constituted by a heater operating arm 79 which can be oscillated around a supporting shaft 77 in a forward or rearward direction, a heater holder 83 having a rear end rotatably attached to the extremity end of the heater operating arm 79, and a heater plate 35 having a rear end fixed on the rear end of the heater holder 83. The heater holder 83 passes between a left gripper and a compression head of a compression member 31 and extends forwardly and is mounted on a supporting roller 87. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
