The current take-off or pick-up (1') is designed so that it is provided with at least one movement sensor (2), with which, deflections of the current take-off (1') based on the irregularities in its collecting line conducting path are determinable. The movement sensor (2) is a two axial acceleration sensor. An electronic evaluation unit (8) is provided, to which are suppliable the deflections determined from the movement sensor (2) in the form of deflection signals.
