<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive printing plate precursor excellent in fine pattern reproducibility in plate making and in printing. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The photosensitive printing plate precursor comprises at least a support, a photosensitive resin layer, a coating layer and a cover film, wherein the coating layer contains UV absorbing fine particles having 1-500 nm average particle diameter.
