COLOR FILTER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce adhesive force between organic polymer layers by performing cleaning and reforming of the surface of a lower side organic polymer layer without losing economical properties and productivity for the purpose of preventing a display defect caused by insufficient adhesive force between the organic polymer layers, in a method for manufacturing a color filter wherein the organic polymer layers are superposed on a substrate.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the color filter having a structure wherein an organic polymer layer (an upper side organic polymer layer) is laminated on the surface of an organic polymer layer (the lower side organic polymer layer) laminated on the substrate is characterized in that the surface of the lower side organic polymer layer on at least the side on which the upper side organic polymer layer is laminated is exposed to atmospheric pressure plasma formed under atmospheric pressure or under near atmospheric pressure before the upper organic polymer layer is laminated.
