PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search a bypass route again in a direction desired by a user in a navigation system. SOLUTION: A navigation ECU 10 searches a route to a destination on the basis of data on a map database 12 so as to be displayed on a display 16. When the bypass route other than an obtained route is required, the user inputs a direction in the bypass route from an operation part 14. The navigation ECU 10 increases link costs in a direction other than an input direction, and it again searches a route agreeing with the input direction so as to be displayed on the display 16.
