PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive normally a liquid crystal display panel by preventing the occurrence of a crack in an IC chip for driving liquid crystal. SOLUTION: A film 10 constituted of the same material as a passivation film 6 formed on a circuit forming plane of a silicon substrate 2 is formed on a plane of an opposite side to the circuit forming plane of the silicon substrate 2 so that the thickness is equal to or larger than the thickness of a passivation film 6 formed on the circuit forming plane of the silicon substrate 2.
