PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic coating composition which stabilizes the paste of the inorganic coating composition by adding calcium silicate hydrate particles and ceramic particles in the form of a plate, further improves hardness and adhesion to the interface after curing, simultaneously can retain strength by stabilizing the paste even when a functional material having a deodorizing function, an antibacterial function, a humidity conditioning function, a reinforcing function or the like is added. SOLUTION: The inorganic coating composition is obtained by compounding slaked lime at a compounding ratio (in terms of CaO) of 30-70 wt.%, an organic resin binder at a compounding ratio of 2-50 wt.%, an antifoaming agent at a compounding ratio of 2-40 wt.%, calcium silicate hydrate particles at a compounding ratio of 2-30 wt.%, and water at a compounding ratio of 40-90 wt.%.
