PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellently safe production method suitable for multi- product production by which drying and capturing are efficiently carried out when producing a dried polymer powder by coagulating a polymer latex produced by emulsion polymerization and drying the obtained wet powder. SOLUTION: The wet powder is dried by air current. The powder dried by the air current is charged into a first cyclone, and the captured dried powder is subjected to fluidized drying. The waste gas exhausted from the first cyclone is sent to a multicyclone or a wet scrubber to capture the fine powder in the waste gas. The waste gas in the fluidized drying is sent to a second cyclone, and the waste gas exhausted therefrom is sent to the multicyclone to capture the fine powder accompanied therewith. The dried powder captured by the second cyclone is returned to the fluidized drying. The powder dried by the fluidized drying and the fine powder captured by the multicyclone are stored in a product bottle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
