<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely decide a capacity of a battery regarding a battery- capacity decision apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding a battery current I detected on the basis of an output signal of a current sensor, a discharge current |IH| and a charging current |IJ| are detected respectively. When a charging and discharging operation of the battery is finished, a tendency to a static open-circuit voltage Voo of a battery open-circuit voltage Vo is grasped on the basis of a two-dimensional relationship between a discharge-current integrated value Σ|IH| and a charging-current integrated value Σ|IJ| at this time. By referring to the grasped tendency, the voltage Vo detected on the basis of an output signal of a voltage sensor at a time when the charging and discharging operation is finished is corrected so as to become the voltage Voo, and the capacity SOC of the battery is decided on the basis of the corrected voltage Vo. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
