PURPOSE:To maintain a uniform pressure balance even when a reaction pipe is clogged, by connecting end parts of a plurality of reaction pipes to each other, and using a connecting part for connection of the end parts of the reaction pipes in common to a plurality of sets of reaction systems. CONSTITUTION:Reaction pipes 8b, 8c of a plurality of reaction systems are simultaneously connected to an annular joint 12. A fuel gas generated through evaporation at an evaporator 1 flows through a connecting pipe 10 into a reaction pipe 8a, flows upward through the reaction pipe 8a, then enters the adjacent reaction pipe 8b through a connecting pipe 11 provided at the upper part of the reaction pipe, and flows downward through the pipe 8b into the annular joint 12. The gas flows from the connecting part 12 into the lower end of the outermost reaction pipe 8c. In this case, since the annular joint 12 is a common space, the gas is diffusively supplied also into the reaction pipes 8c in the other sets. The gas thus supplied into the reaction pipes 8c flows upward through the reaction pipes 8c and finally enters a collecting chamber 13. |
