PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide downsized fluid machinery which efficiently compresses gas at a high compressibility obtained by allowing even a long rotor having a large number of impellers to be rotated in a very high speed range, and also to provide the rotor installed in the fluid machinery. SOLUTION: In this fluid machinery, the rotor 11 for feeding gas in a generally radial direction by the rotation of the plurality of impellers disposed in multiple stages and, bearings 50 rotatably supporting the rotor 11 are installed in a casing 2. The bearings 50 are disposed on the rotor 11 at both end sides, and one or a plurality of second bearings 51 are disposed on the front part of an expected vibration between these both bearings 50. In addition, one or a plurality of third bearings 52 are disposed on the front part of an expected vibration between the second bearings 51 adjacent to each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
