PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specifically react a protein complex labeled with a composite tag comprising a flag peptide and histidine with a nickel-bound carrier and an anti-flag antibody-bound carrier to determine the optimal reaction condition on the separation and purification of the protein complex. SOLUTION: This device for purifying the protein, comprising a plurality of solution tanks for receiving solutions for purifying the protein, dividing injectors, the first reaction tanks for utilizing the interaction of the histidine with the nickel to separate and purify the protein, the second reaction tanks for utilizing the interaction of the flag peptide with the anti-flag antibody to separate and purify the protein, and a control means, is characterized in that the compositions of the solutions in the reaction tanks are controlled by commands, respectively, from the control means.
