PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet or the like processing device which can make a conveying path itself have a function for correcting skew, and correct skew paper sheet or the like to normal conveying attitudes by correcting the skew by the difference of the feeding speed when skew paper sheet or the like pass a feeding speed changeable part for correcting the skew during conveying. SOLUTION: This paper sheet or the like processing device is provided with a holding and conveying path for holding and conveying the paper sheet or the like. The device is further provided with a main conveying rotation means which is located on the holding and conveying path and holds and conveys the paper sheet or the like, and sub conveying rotation means for correcting skew which are provided on the conveying direction downstream side of the main conveying rotation means and on both sides of the conveying width direction and rotate slowly than the feeding speed of the main conveying rotation means.
