PURPOSE:To obtain a packing material which separates a nucleic acid base- contg. compd. in accordance with the compsn. of the constituting base thereof and/or the content of the specific base with high performance by bonding the nucleic acid base and/or the associated compd. thereof by an amide compd. to a carrier. CONSTITUTION:A silica gel or CPG (glass having controlled pores) is selected as the carrier having high rigidity and a chain org. compd. (spacer group A) contg. an amino group is bonded to the carrier side thereof. On the other hand, a chain org. compd. (spacer group B) contg. a carboxyl group or the derived group thereof is bonded to the nucleic acid base. Both thereof are bonded by an amide bond-NHCO-having high resistance to the above-mentioned amino group and carboxyl group (or the derived group thereof). The packing agent for liquid chromatography which can quickly and satisfactorily separate the compd. contg. the nucleic acid base is thereby obtd. |
