<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water accumulator for suppressing decrease of temperature of coolant of an engine cooling system when hot water is recovered and reducing affecting possibility of a bad effect of the decrease to an operation of an internal combustion engine and a device such as a heater using the coolant. <P>SOLUTION: The hot water accumulator 62 recovers hot water from a cooling system of the internal combustion engine 12 to a heat storage tank 64, and supplies the hot water to the cooling system of the internal combustion engine in cold starting of the internal combustion engine. A charge allowance amount ΔE of a battery 28 is calculated (S70) during recovery of the hot water (S20 and S50), an output required increment ΔP of the internal combustion engine 12 is calculated based on the charge allowance amount ΔE (S80), power generation increment ΔEg by a power generator 18 is calculated based on the output required increment ΔP (S90), and the output of the internal combustion engine 12 is increased based on the output required increment ΔP and generated electricity of the power generator 18 is increased based on the power generation increment ΔEg (S100). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
