The triangular first frame (1), incorporating the steering tube (6) and the saddle tube (4), has a normal sloping bottom tube (3) and a nearly horizontal top tube (5). The top tube is divided to form a fork which accommodates a spring (12) which works under compression. The spring pushes on a bell crank (13) which pushes down on the rear tube (8) of a second frame (2) which has a pair of hooks to accommodate the axle of the rear wheel. The bottom tube of the second frame is pivoted (10) to the bottom of the saddle tube.
