<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device which can maximize space efficiency and improve productivity by employing a single line process as a liquid crystal cell process. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a 1st stage of providing a 1st substrate and a 2nd substrate to a single process line, a 2nd stage of washing the 1st and 2nd substrate, a 3rd stage of passing the 1st substrate as it is while coating the 2nd substrate with a sealing material, a 4th stage of passing the 2nd substrate as it is while dispensing liquid crystal onto a pixel region of the 1st substrate, a 5th stage of forming a liquid crystal cell by assembling the 1st substrate with the 2nd substrate by vacuum adherence to form a liquid crystal cell, a 6th stage of forming the liquid crystal cell of a plurality of liquid crystal panels, and a 7th stage of examining whether the liquid crystal panels are nondefective or defective. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
