<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the bubbles generated in a jet pump for transferring the fuel in a fuel tank, from being sent to an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: In a reserve container 20 mounted inside of the fuel tank 6, a wall 24 is mounted on a discharge port of a jet pump 40 in a closed state, so that the discharged fuel flow moves all around the discharge port 54. The discharged fuel including bubbles from the jet pump 40 collides with the wall 24, and charges into the reserve container 20 after being circulated around a partition 22 several times, whereby the bubbles is efficiently removed from the fuel, and a condition that a large amount of bubbles are mixed in the fuel in the container is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
