PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard having an excellent workability even in a narrow corner of a room and capable of covering a clearance and improving the airtightness, well following it even when an uneven floor face arises with the elapse of time after construction and a clearance between the floor face and a wall face increases. SOLUTION: A notched step is fixed to the wall face and formed in the inside edge of the lower end. The baseboard is constituted of a decoration edge having a protrusion at the outside edge of the lower end and a baseboard body which is disposed below the decoration edge, temporarily fixed to the lower end of the decoration edge at the upper end, and fixed to the corner of the floor face at the lower end. The baseboard body has a notched step at the outside edge of the upper end, and also has a protrusion at the inside edge of the upper end. The upper end of the baseboard body is fitted in a fitting groove constituted by the notched step of the decoration edge and the wall face. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
