PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down pipe supporter preventing a looseness during the rotary operation of a shaft plate section and a bearing section in the open-close operation of a receiving body and a cover body and smoothly conducting the open-close operation. SOLUTION: In the down pipe supporter having a structure in which the approximately T-shaped tabular shaft plate section 3 is formed at either one end section of the two-part receiving bodies 1 or the cover body 2 and the cylindrical bearing section 4, to which the shaft plate section 3 is attached pivotally, at the other end section, these shaft plate section 3 and bearing section 4 are attached pivotally and the receiving bodies 1 and the cover body 2 are formed in an openable and closeable manner while an engaging receiving section 5 is formed at either one free end section of the receiving bodies 1 or the cover body 2 and an engaging section 6 engaged with the engaging receiving section 5 is formed to the other and the down pipe supporter is clamped and held to a down pipe T, one or more of projecting sections 33 are formed towards the oblong direction of a plate piece section 32 in the oblong plate piece section 32 formed at the front end of a neck piece section 31 of the shaft plate section 3, and a contact area in the open-close operation of the shaft plate section 3 and the bearing section 4 is increased.
