PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fireproof construction using a fireproof tape flexible, easy to handle and having excellent heat conductivity in the whole material. SOLUTION: This fireproof tape is formed of a metal net and nonwoven fabric impregnated with paint containing a foaming agent which generates noncombustible gas when heated, and at least one kind of carbide forming material selected out of polysaccaride, polyhydric alcohol, urea-based resin and polyamide-based resin. In constructing a through member in a through hole of the fire protecting partition wall, the fireproof tape is wound around the outer surface of the through member, and the fireproof material portion wound around the through member is inserted in the through hole. Mortar is then filled in a clearance between the through hole and the through member containing the fireproof material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
