PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame retardant polyamide resin composition excellent in kneading/molding processability, imparting a molding therefrom with excellent shape, and having excellent flame retardancy without using a halogen based organic compound and free from imparting a reverse effect on various properties such as mechanical properties. SOLUTION: This flame retardant polyamide resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polyamide resin, (B) 10-40 pts.wt. of a novolac type phenol resin having≥120°C softening point, (C) 10-50 pts.wt. of melamine phosphates, (D) 5-40 pts.wt. of a non-halogen flame retardant, (E) 0-100 pts.wt. of glass fibers and (F) 0.2-2.5 pts.wt. of a silane coupling agent having an alkoxy group and a group selected from epoxy group, vinyl group or mercapto group, in the molecule.
