METHOD FOR PRODUCING EMULSION POLYMERIZATION LATEX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an emulsion polymerization latex by which a polymerizable monomer having≤0.03 mass solubility in water at 20°C is subjected to emulsion polymerization in a high polymerization ratio. SOLUTION: The method for producing the emulsion polymerization latex comprises dispersing a polymerizable monomer containing the polymerizable monomer having≤0.03 mass solubility in water at 20°C into water by using a line mixer 30 and a homogenizer 40 to give an emulsion having≤10.0μm volume average liquid drop diameter and then polymerizing the polymerizable monomer in the emulsion.
