PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical treatment appliance in which a diameter of a rotary cutter is expanded on a guide wire without detaching the rotary cutter from the guide wire. SOLUTION: When further expanding the diameter of an intravascular angiostenosis part 10 after the medical treatment of cutting the intravascular angiostenosis part 10, a rotary cutter 2 of the medical treatment appliance can be temporarily pulled out of the body along with a guide wire 1 together with a drive shaft 3 and an anchoring sheath 4. The rotary cutter 2 has a deformable portion 2a composed of a plurality of cutting blades adjacent in the direction of the circumference, and the deformable portion is deformed in the direction of diameter expansion on the guide wire 1 after the rotary cutter is pulled out.
