PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm driving device capable of securing the straight moving performance of the tip of the second arm. SOLUTION: The arm driving device includes a timing belt set over between a first timing pulley 11 installed at a joint 2 and a second timing pulley 12 installed at a joint 3, wherein the timing belt is composed of two short timing belts 15 and 16, and on the way of the first arm 5, a drive source 7 is installed to drive the two short belts 15 and 16 simultaneously.
