PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface sheet for reinforcing a woody material, a method for manufacturing the sheet and a reinforcing method. SOLUTION: The surface sheet for reinforcing the woody material reinforces the woody material by bonding the sheet to the woody material, using an adhesive and the reinforcing fibers of a composite layer of a fiber-reinforcing resin are orderly drawn in one direction. In addition, the adhesive face of the sheet to the woody material has a release area equivalent to 50% or lower by a wood fiber reinforcing texture test complying with JIS K5400 8.52.
