A lock component comprises a mounting plate (<HIL><PDAT>50<PDAT>). An intermediate resilient element (<HIL><PDAT>56<PDAT>) is mounted on the plate and has a peg (<HIL><PDAT>59<PDAT>) engaging a recess (<HIL><PDAT>53<PDAT>) on the plate to prevent rotation of the intermediate element. The intermediate element presents a collar (<HIL><PDAT>60<PDAT>) and projection (<HIL><PDAT>61<PDAT>) having an outer periphery configured to snugly engage an aperture (<HIL><PDAT>64<PDAT>) in an arm (<HIL><PDAT>62<PDAT>) which carries a lockable element (<HIL><PDAT>68<PDAT>). A connecting element (<HIL><PDAT>74<PDAT>) has a shaft (<HIL><PDAT>76<PDAT>) passing through a central aperture in the intermediate element (<HIL><PDAT>56<PDAT>), thus also extending through the aperture (<HIL><PDAT>64<PDAT>) in the arm (<HIL><PDAT>62<PDAT>). The shaft is connected to an aperture (<HIL><PDAT>55<PDAT>) formed in the mounting plate (<HIL><PDAT>50<PDAT>). The lockable element (<HIL><PDAT>68<PDAT>) has at least one degree of freedom of movement, which may be a rotational movement about the axis of the connecting element (<HIL><PDAT>74<PDAT>), or which may be a lateral movement. When the lockable element (<HIL><PDAT>68<PDAT>) is engaged within the locking arrangement, the intermediate element (<HIL><PDAT>56<PDAT>) is deformed.</PTEXT>
