PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic apparatus for treating a solid part of excrement in which load of excrement treatment of cats is reduced. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, it is detected that the cat goes in and out the apparatus by a sensor 14 and operation of a net screw 2 is started and an only part solidified in the excrement is scooped up by a blade face of the net-like screw 2 and moved along the screw face and collected into an excrement-receiving part and stored in an excrement storage bag b and sand in a reduced amount is supplied from a preliminary sand storage part 12 for supply and a deodorant 16 set to a deodorant-receiving tool 17 is scattered by start of a deodorant-scattering start-pushing part (a).
