PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning agent excellent in cleaning properties for decomposing and cleaning the residual adherend on a plastic molding machine. SOLUTION: The cleaning agent for the molding machine is a composite prepared by adding titanium oxide, a humectant/moisture absorbent to a thermoplastic resin. The content of titanium oxide is 1-80 wt.%, the content of the humectant/moisture absorbent is 1-50 wt.% and the particle size of titanium oxide is 1-300 nm. The humectant/moisture absorbent comprises at least one of zeolite, diatomaceous earch, a water absorbing polymer, a surfactant, a nitrate, a chloride and the like, and the composite is molded/pelletized so as to have a particle size of 1-20 mm. Further, titanium oxide has photocatalytic activity and the particle size thereof is 1-50 nm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
