PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposer in which moisture can be efficiently recovered from the high-temperature and high-humidity air in a treating tank and the water droplets stuck to the ceiling surface of the inside of a cap part can be efficiently recovered. SOLUTION: This garbage disposer has a main body 1, the treating tank 2 which is arranged in the body 1 and into which garbage and a garbage treating material for decomposing garbage are thrown, an agitating means 3 for agitating the garbage and the garbage treating material in the tank 2, a moisture collecting part 6 which is connected to the tank 2 through a connection part 4 and provided with a cooling fin 7 for cooling the hot air in the tank 2, and condensing it into moisture, an intake fan 8 arranged in the part 4 for sucking the hot air in the tank 2 into the part 6, the cap part 9 which is arranged in the upper part of the body 1 to be opened/closed and has the ceiling surface 9a formed aslant on the side of the tank 2, and a discharging part 10 for discharging the moisture collected by the part 6 and the moisture collected on the underpart of the surface 9a of the part 9 to the outside.
