PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes drier in which the lock of a rotary drum at the time of an operation is prevented and generation of abnormal sound is suppressed. SOLUTION: The clothes drier comprises: an armor 1; the rotary drum 2 provided inside the armor 1, to which clothes are fed; and a cylinder cover 4 having a slide supporting part slide-supporting the front side of the rotary drum 2 so as to make the rotary drum 2 freely rotatable. The slide supporting part is formed of a cylinder metal 35 fixed to the cylinder cover 4 and surrounded by felt 34. Further, the start point side end part 35a in the rotating direction of the rotary drum 2 of the cylinder metal 35 is separated from the felt 34. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
