A correction function of the rotation speed of a motor <HIL><PDAT>106 </BOLD><PDAT>for varying the angle of a diffraction grating in a spectroscope <HIL><PDAT>104 </BOLD><PDAT>so that extracted wavelength and output signal light wavelength match over a setup sweep wavelength range is found from the output signal light wavelength characteristic relative to the rotation angle of a spectral element <HIL><PDAT>119 </BOLD><PDAT>and the extracted wavelength of the spectroscope <HIL><PDAT>104</BOLD><PDAT>, and the rotation angle of motor <HIL><PDAT>106 </BOLD><PDAT>for driving the spectroscope <HIL><PDAT>104 </BOLD><PDAT>is varied for each setup wavelength in accordance with the correction function, then sweep is performed.</PTEXT>
