PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate flow of a molding material after opening a gate of a valve pin without adding compulsory strength. SOLUTION: A gate taper part 20A is provided on the gate 20, a pin taper part 54 is provided at the tip end of the valve pin 51 and a gate block part 52 is provided at the tip end of the pin taper part 54. When the gate of the valve pin 51 is fully enclosed, the interval W between the gate taper part 20A and the valve pin taper part 54 is specified 1/4 to 3/4 of the difference between the diameter D of the tip end part 53 thereof and the diameter d of the gate block part 52. Strength added to the gate taper part 20A by moving the valve pin 51 is reduced. Heat insulating property between both thereof can be secured by a resin in the interval W. On the other hand, when the gate is opened, the resin is smoothly flowed from the gate 20 to a product cavity 3 due to space opened by moving the valve pin 51. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
