PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the decomposition efficiency of garbage by a microbe by efficiently vaporizing the moisture in a decomposing base material. SOLUTION: Air supplying mechanisms 38 are arranged before and behind the lower part of the inside of an outer box 1. Each of the mechanism 38 is provided with an air supplying chamber arranged on the sidewall 2c of a treating tank 2, a pump unit 41, and an air tube 40 by which the air supplying chamber is connected to the unit 41. The air supplying chamber is formed between the wall 2c and a wall part 43 of a barrier member 42 fit to such a position of the wall 2c of the treating tank 2 in which the decomposing base material 28 exists. An air supplying port 46 is arranged on one side of the air supplying chamber, so that the air supplied to the air supplying chamber from the unit 41 through the tube 40 is surely discharged to the inside of the material 28.
