<p>An easy tear open feature is provided to packages, such as pouches or fold and seal packages, by providing said packages with at least two substantially parallel, substantially linear or straight laser scores across the width of the package, preferably adjacent to at least one seal. Such packages, for containing food such as juice concentrates or cake mixes, or for containing soap, are disclosed. Methods and apparatus for making such easy tear open packages are also disclosed.</p> |
