<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well recycle an existing tube by removing a wrinkle of the tube when the tube is to be recycled by inserting a recycled tube into the existing tube. <P>SOLUTION: A method for recycling the existing tube comprises the steps of: inserting the recycled tube 3 into a mounting tube 8 when the tube 8 connected to a main tube 2 is recycled by the tube 3, moving to reciprocate a plurality of times the tube 3 in its tube axial direction while imparting a predetermined tension to the tube 3 in its tube axial direction, and removing the wrinkle generated on the tube 3.
