PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high reliable co-generation type refuse disposal system and an operation method thereof by which energy such as power or heat is secured by itself, compost suitable for the rearing of farm product in the agriculture or the like is produced from garbage, the stoppage of the operation of a generator due to the exhaustion of fuel is prevented and proper fee as a price for the supply of the energy or the compost is automatically claimed to a user.

SOLUTION: When the residual quantity of fuel for a gas engine generator 2 is decreased to a prescribed value or below, the replenishment of the fuel to the gas engine generator 2 is demanded. The fee corresponding to the power supplied to the power user is computed and is claimed to the power user. The fee corresponding to the energy supplied to the energy user is computed and is claimed to the energy user. When the compost is required, the shipment of the compost is directed and the fee corresponding to the shipped compost is computed and claimed to the compost user.
