PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device for a seamless tube with a grooved inner face with which the seamless tube with the grooved inner face having the large lead angle of the groove is manufactured at high productivity by smoothly rotating a grooving plug. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing device for the seamless tube with the grooved inner face, a magnet motor 24 is provided and the magnet motor 24 is provided with: a rotor 20 consisting of a permanent magnet; and a stator 21 consisting of a iron core 22 and a coil 23. The rotor 20 is fixed to a plug shaft 16 inside a tube stock 1 and the stator 21 is arranged in a position matching the rotor 20 outside the tube stock 1. The plug shaft 16 is rotated in the same direction as the direction of rotation of the grooving plug 7 by the magnet motor 24 by supplying AC current to the coil 23. In this way, the relative number of rotation between a shaft head part 9 and the grooving plug 7 is reduced and the grooving plug 7 is smoothly rotated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
