PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively apply grease on an opening of a cylinder body regardless of the degree of mastery of workers. SOLUTION: An implement is provided with a grease supply base 3 supported to a base plate 2 and a holder base 4 supported to the supply body 3 in a freely ascending and descending manner respectively. The supply base 3 is attached with an applying member 1 applying grease on the opening of the cylinder body T supported on the base plate 2 by a penetrated rod 5 and a sponge S<SB>1</SB>impregnated with the grease is placed on the upper face of the supply base 3 attached with the applying member 1. The holder base is provided with an inserting hole 15 for inserting the applying member 1 and a press part 16 for pressing the sponge S<SB>1</SB>of the supply base 3 onto the bottom face. The grease is supplied to the applying member 1 from the sponge S<SB>1</SB>pressed by the press member 16, when the opening of the cylinder body T harmonized with the inserting hole 15 of the holder base 4 is made to descend. Further descending of the opening applies the grease by the entry, into an opening (m), of the applying member 1 ascending relatively by descending of the supply base 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
