TOILET SEAT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detection reliability of a human body detecting sensor in a toilet seat device having the human body detecting sensor. SOLUTION: A sensor device 9 including the human body detecting sensor is attached to a surface panel 7 of a base part 1 journaling a toilet seat body 2 and a toilet seat cover 2 so as to be freely turned up/down. In whichever position of the toilet seat body 2 and the toilet seat cover 2 being turned up or down, the human body detecting sensor faces to a limited area therebetween and a signal such as an infrared ray to be transmitted therefrom surely passes the limited area to reach the human body.
