PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain hanging device applicable to normal curtain rails for moving curtains horizontally and for raising or lowering at required positions. SOLUTION: A plurality of hangers 3 are mounted in horizontally spaced relationship along the upper edge of a curtain 21. A plurality of insertion rings 10 are attached to the curtain 21 as they are located below the hangers 3 and arranged in a vertical line. A cord 6 is locked to each hanger 3 at its upper end and extends downwards, with the mid part of the cord passed through the ring 10 and the lower end of the cord locked to the lower edge of the curtain 21. By moving a lift stopper 8 attached to the cord 6, the distance between the locked position of the cord 6 to the hanger 3 and the locked position of the cord 6 to the curtain 21 is varied to adjust the vertical position of the lower edge of the curtain 21. Since the hangers 3 are locked to the runners of the curtain rail, the curtain can also be moved horizontally along the rail. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
