A device for transferring pulverulent material, for example, powdery material, including an enclosure (<HIL><PDAT>3</BOLD><PDAT>) wherein the pulverulent material to be transferred is stirred and pressurized; a first pipe (<HIL><PDAT>8</BOLD><PDAT>) and a second pipe (<HIL><PDAT>9</BOLD><PDAT>) which transport the material towards its destination; and a gas intake (<HIL><PDAT>14, 15</BOLD><PDAT>) for introducing gas to the second pipe (<HIL><PDAT>9</BOLD><PDAT>). In one aspect of the invention, pipe (<HIL><PDAT>8</BOLD><PDAT>) forms a nozzle (<HIL><PDAT>12</BOLD><PDAT>), oriented in the direction of the material flow and directed toward second pipe (<HIL><PDAT>9</BOLD><PDAT>). The gas intake (<HIL><PDAT>14, 15</BOLD><PDAT>) may emerge at the lower end of the first pipe (<HIL><PDAT>8</BOLD><PDAT>), outside the nozzle (<HIL><PDAT>12</BOLD><PDAT>), wherein the gas is introduced into the second pipe (<HIL><PDAT>9</BOLD><PDAT>) through a plurality of through orifices (<HIL><PDAT>20</BOLD><PDAT>) oriented substantially parallel to the flow direction of the pulverulent material.</PTEXT>
