PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated material having biodegradability, being excellent in barrier properties to oxygen and water vapor, having a stable vapor deposition layer and being usable as a packaging material for foodstuff. SOLUTION: The laminated material is formed of a paper base layer (A), a base layer (B) stacked on the paper base layer (A) and constituted of a biodegradable polymer, an anchor coat layer (C) formed on the side of the base layer (B) different from that stacked on the paper base layer (A) and having the oxygen permeability of 200 mL/m<SP>2</SP>/day or below, the water vapor permeability of 200 g/m<SP>2</SP>/day or below and the moisture absorption rate of less than 1% in the case of the thickness of a dried film being 10μm and the vapor deposition layer (D) formed on the anchor coat layer (C).
