PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod capable of being desirably controlled only in a flexural condition of the fishing rod in casting, without being changed in flexural conditions of a main body of the fishing rod (nor general flexural conditions of the fishing rod as a whole). SOLUTION: This fishing rod has the main body 15 of the fishing rod and a grip 16, wherein the main body 15 is supported on the grip 16 through elastic members 18. The elastic members 18 are fastened to the inside of a housing 19 of the grip 16. The two elastic members 18 are each attached to both the ends of the housing 19.
