PURPOSE:To realize a fast image processing, by dividing image data to be processed into plural parts, processing them separately in parallel, and setting the results of the above processing. CONSTITUTION:A row of image elements read out from an image memory device 255 are read out in series after being stored in an input buffer 251, and are distributed to odd image elements and even image elements by a distributor 252, then, inputted to original image registers 214 and 224. Stored image elements are selected according to the instruction of original image element pointers 213 and 223 decided by the functions of residual registers 210 and 220, and adders 216 and 226, etc., and the density of then are transferred and stored in result image registers 215 and 225. The contents of them are collected to corresponding image elements by a collector 253, and are stored in a result output buffer 254, and are written on the image memory device 255. |
