A plastic molded hook (1) for use with a hook (1) and loop (5) fastening system especially adapted for use with low profile loops (5). The hook (1) design includes a base (6), a stem and a crook (2) whereby the volume of the portion of the hook penetrat- ing into a pile of loops (5) is defined as the displacement volume. Hooks (1 ) especially adapted for use with low profile loops (5) have a displacement volume of less than 6x10-6 cubic inches.-6 cubic inches. |
